Story Summary Ledge THE FILM (2011):
Gavin Nichols (Charlie Hunnam) does not believe in God. He did not adhere to any religion. Gavin also did not believe there is another life after death comes. All the convictions were ultimately faced when Gavin's conflict of having to deal with a man named Joe (Patrick Wilson).
Contrary to what is believed to Gavin, Joe is a devout Christian. Initially the difference is only a belief argument about the existence of God and life after death. The problem was further complicated when Gavin was having an affair with Joe's wife, Shana (Liv Tyler). When he found the two had an affair, then begins a deadly game.
Joe Gavin challenged in a deadly game. In essence, Gavin had to jump from the top storey building to prove that he really loves Shana. If not, there will be lives lost. Gavin does not believe in life after death but Could he stick with the principle that in time he would have his own life?
