A driver (Ryan Gosling) who sometimes worked as a stunt man for the driver's action movies, sometimes working in the workshop, and sometimes the drivers paid for illegal things. Stuck in someone else's problem that requires her to save the life of a beautiful woman, Irene (Carey Mulligan), and his son. Do not think this movie like Transporter yes, because it is completely different. No quasi-cool heroes and has no heart.

Characteristics of this film has a distinctive style, dark, the atmosphere is rising pessimism down right mood, plus the play of light that the contrast between dark and bright, like ga wrong if I categorize as neo-noir film. The plot of this movie a little undpredictable in each plot. Even the characteristics of its primary role was unexpected, which is the pessimistic mood that I feel. Earlier we looked forward to the film's main character (Ryan Gosling) speaks, indeed during the first five minutes of Ryan Gosling apparition appeared, we did not see him speak in person. Even up to one hour earlier I realized that we were not told who the name of Ryan Gosling in this movie, and suddenly I inget when reading the synopsis for this movie in the morning, did not mention the name of the protagonist in this film. Himself would nod.

Arises a sense of disappointment that comes when watching this movie. Eits, but certainly not because the movie. Unfortunately the studio in one of the xxi in Bandung this does not present a good atmosphere for the audience. Over all, as a class movie lovers, this movie should you watch. Taking good pictures, artistic arrangement of typical (a little indie), contrasting play of light, and do not forget Ryan Gosling-dream-of-a woman with very good acting!
